Advance your career in the dynamic nuclear power industry by joining the worldwide, motivated team of employees at Westinghouse Electric Company, the global leader in nuclear operations, experience and technology.This position requires the candidate to develop, build and implement electrical distribution and controls system used to chemically clean and decontaminate nuclear power plants.- Develop the control system using P&IDs and electrical schematics to design a control system to operate and read process equipment.A successful candidate will have the following:- A solid understanding of networking protocols, HMIs, PLC ladder logic and programming will be needed to develop the control system.- A strong knowledge of electrical fundamentals will be needed to implement the electrical distribution system providing power to the process equipment. - Experience using the National Electric Code, Wonderware InTouch software and Automation Direct PLCs is a plus.* Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted site access to utility sites. At the power plant, the fission process is used to generate heat for producing steam, which is used by a turbine to generate electricity. The AP1000 has also passed all the steps for compliance with European Utility Requirements.
