Electrical Design Systems Engineers

Position Description:

This position will offer you the opportunity to work on new nuclear systems engineering, design, and construction design projects. This would be in a project team environment working with other engineers and designers involved in the design, modification, and analysis of power plant electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include:• Electrical system design• Preparation and review of complex calculations• Preparation of documented design inputs• Review of design inputs and the engineering review of drawings • Preparation and review of equipment and material specifications• Preparation of reports and studies that present technical information in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirements• Bid evaluations including calculations to support economic evaluations and interface with vendors • Project work plan development

Qualifications:

A BSEE degree and 8+ years of experience project engineering, with 5+ being dedicated to nuclear and/or fossil power plants. Experience with power plant electrical system design, including medium and low voltage distribution systems, communication systems, equipment selection, and analytical calculations. PE license a plus.
