Earned Value/Cost Reporting Project Engineer

We are currently seeking a Earned Value/Cost Reporting Reporting Project in our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit. Our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit, based out of our corporate headquarters in Monroeville, PA, specializes in product development, systems engineering, component design, equipment manufacturing, and project management for new nuclear power plants worldwide. It is within this Business Unit that developed the AP1000 design, the safest and most economical nuclear power plant available in the worldwide commercial market place. In this position, a Earned Value, Cost and Baseline Change Control Project Lead can expect to perform the following duties:- Assists project managers in completion of a large-scale Engineering-Procurement-Construction project. - Establish and manage the projects Work Breakdown, Structure (WBS) Dictionary, scope and cost control baselines based on existing AP1000 project standards.- Establish and manage the change control process for the projects scope, schedule and cost baselines.- Establish and manage the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for the project including integration with the cost and schedule systems.- Analysis of Earned Value schedule, cost variances, percent completes and other EV indicators with the projects Control Account Managers. - Production of monthly Earned Value reports for use by project, engineering, supply chain management and project partners.- Managing the daily activities of Project Controls Analysts assigned to the project.A successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:- A Bachelors Degree- 5 - 10 years experience in project planning- Preferred experience with SAP, Primavera and/or ARES PRISM. - Strong organizational and communication skills.
