Inc. is accepting online applications for the position of Drill Site Manager located Bakersfield, California.The Drill Site Manager will report to Drilling Superintendent and be responsible for acting as Chevron’s on-site supervisor for land based drilling operations for the San Joaquin Valley Business Unit. Qualifications:Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:• Directing day to day well site operations on land based drilling rigs, supervising one rig at a time.• Working in a team environment to ensure the safety of all personnel on location and compliance with all applicable environmental regulations.• Managing day to day activities of rig contractor personnel and third party contractors.• Managing logistics for personnel and equipment to and from location.• Providing accurate daily reports to the Drilling Superintendent and for data entry into the selected Chevron database system.• Maintaining accurate cost control.Required (Basic) Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent required• A minimum of 3 years of directly related experience• Position requires employee to work on a 7/7 or 14/14 rotational schedule at various field locations• Applicants must be able to successfully complete Chevron Well Cap Well Control training to achieve certification for well control.
