Diving Estimator

Responsible for development of technical and commercial proposals for offshore Engineering Procurement Installation and Commissions projects primarily for construction of offshore pipelines and structures.

JOB ROLES:

Develop cost estimates for assigned projects.

Assist in the evaluation of Customer Request for Tender/Bid/Quotation documents. 

 Identify and understand customer requirements for bid purposes.

Coordinate bid inputs from Operations, Engineering, Welding, Legal, Purchasing, Taxation, Human Resources, Safety, and Risk Management departments.

Coordinate with subcontractors to receive input on pricing on labor, materials and other costs.

Assists in obtaining management approval on estimates prior to submission of tender/proposal to client.

Attend bid meetings to act as a resource for project team and client.

Enter proposals/tenders into Global Star database for cost tracking and historical information.

Serve as a liaison for Project Management when a bid/tender is awarded and becomes a job.

Market the company's services to existing and potential clients.

Create spreadsheets and other information for bids.

Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Job Requirements:


EDUCATION/LICENSURE:

Diving School

 

EXPERIENCE:

2 years in oilfield diving

5 years preferred

 

ROLE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

The ability to travel out of country (to obtain Passport/Visa's etc).

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Prefer knowledge of Primavera or Microsoft Project.
