Desalination Director
A Solid and Growing EPC firm in Power Generation is seeking an experienced Desalination Engineering Director. A growing firm in New Jersey that specializes in lump-sum, turnkey engineering, procurement and construction of process systems for customers in heavy industry is seeking an experienced Desalination Engineering Director.Primary Function: To direct all engineering activities in multiple disciplines on assigned project(s) in accordance with the highest technical standards and all applicable legal and professional codes. Provides project management, coordination and direction of total efforts of one or more large projects. Provides plans, operational and engineering technical guidance and assistance for all division facilities and projects. Seek out business opportunities, maintain customer contacts and relationships and promote desalination capabilities. Salary: Salary is highly competitive and dependent on experience level.Required Skills: · Strong skills in the analysis of large, complex desal plants, systems and equipment.· The ability to communicate effectively with personnel ranging from plant operators to senior corporate and client managers. · The ability to meet strict schedule deadlines and to work in a highly dynamic environment with rapidly-changing requirements and priorities. Preferred Skills: · Minimum of 20 years of desalination plant engineering and design experience· Extensive on-site/field assignments at complex, major desalination plants · Emphasis on multistage flash evaporation systems or hybrid MSF-RO facilities. · In addition, a minimum of 20 years of desalination and water treatment technology experience.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Masters Degree is preferred.
