From our acquisition of a state-of-the-art, 22-million gallon capacity deep-water oil terminal in the Bronx to the introduction of Stuyvesant Energy, the company's deregulated natural gas division, Stuyvesant has continually provided customers with the best combination of products and services to meet their energy needs.
Responsibilities
Stuyvesant is looking for a reliable individual with experience as a credit/ collections analyst to work in its credit department. The successful candidate must be a team player, dependable and energetic with excellent customer service skills. The major responsibilities include but are not limited to: Contacting customers directly to secure payments and resolve balances. The ability to analyze, interpret and apply payments to relevant accounts. Negotiating payment options approved by the credit manager. Analyze aging reports and collections of past due accounts. On a daily basis, work closely with the Accounting Department in resolving billing and invoicing issues. Generate duplicate invoices and dunning letters to customers. Coordinate collections with attorneys and collection agencies and are responsible for any other duties as assigned by the credit manger as well.
  Job Requirements:Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordPossess very good analytical skills and pays attention to details Ability to prioritize and multi task Excellent communication skills. Customer service savvy.
 Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays during the winter/busy season is necessary!!!
