Contracts and Procurement Manager

Our client, a wholly owned subsidiary of a large, public energy company in Zion, Illinois is looking for a Contracts and Procurement Manager.

Job ResponsibilitiesWork with Operations to develop and execute vendor supply contracts to support production; Work with Finance on procurement issues pertaining to internal control, forecasting costs, and budgeting;Assist in the development of and the implementation of corporate vendor agreements, Corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and procurement practices at the assigned sites;Lead, train and optimize Procurement personnel.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration;5-7 years of directly related work experience;Strong project management and organizational skills;Experience developing, negotiating and adminstering contracts;Exceptional written and oral communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with team members;Effectively utilize MS Office software and other electronic business systems.
