Contracts Manager - Compressors Unit
My client's Compressor Business Unit is looking for a Contract Manager to lead a growing team of project managers and document controllers. This manager will support project managers from booking the purchase order, through product definition and finally the manufacture of compressor package. Project teams range in size from 2 to 4 people depending on technical scope. Specific responsibilities include:- Reviewing customer purchase orders to ensure the alignment of technical scope and commercial terms. - Distributing work load as new orders are booked. This includes handling projects during temporary increases in work load. - Coordinating with the operations team during the manufacturing, assembly and testing of compressor packages. - Fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. - Ensuring timely order execution based on project priorities and scheduling. - Defining project manager roles and responsibilities and holding team members accountable for scope, schedule and costs. - Developing and training a growing team of project managers. - Working directly with customers as required as projects are completed. Bachelor's degree in a technical field, relevant discipline is requiredPMI training or certification a plusAdvance degree in management or technical field a plus Minimum of 5 years as project manager or equivalent with projects ranging in value from $10,000 to $1,000,000.
