Contract Administrator

We are currently seeking a Contract Administrator at WEC Welding & Machining, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company Global Field Services. Based out of our Lake Bluff, IL facility, WEC Welding & Machining specializes in welding and machining applications at both nuclear and non-nuclear sites around the world.In this position, the Contract Administrator will perform the overall contract administration for all activities concerned with Westinghouse nuclear energy. S/he will also administer the contract life cycle from receipt through performance of contract and deliverables including customer interface.Day-to-day functions include, but are not limited to:1. Reviewing Customer Request for Quote (RFQ)terms.2. Identifying deviations from Westinghouse baseline sales terms.3. Working with Marketing Engineers and other key members of the proposal team to develop the commercial strategy.4. Working with Westinghouse Legal & Contracts to prepare and negotiate the final sales contract documents.5. Identifying and mitigate commercial, legal and liability risks.6. Drawing up contract amendments.The successful candidate will have:1. Relevant experience in Contract Management, Marketing or Supply Chain.2. Experience working in a corporate environment.3. Experience working in the power industry, nuclear power industry or heavy machine industry.4. Experience working with overseas companies.5. A good understanding of our business and products.6. Has familiarity with commercial processes.7. Bachelor of Science Degree in related field required, however, experience plus a paralegal certificate will be considered.
