In this position you will support the architectural layer of our software development environment through proprietary tools maintenance, database management and system administration and configuration.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
Build and deploy internal (development, QC and Customer Support) and external instances of Foundation Architecture Manage build machines and automated build scripts for internal and external instances of Foundation Architecture Provide product-centered UNIX and Web Server administrative support in addition to designing and developing in-house development and support tools
Specific Duties:
Create, maintain and administer development instances of Foundation Architecture Configure and administer Oracle, WebSphere and WebLogic application servers used for the deployment of Foundation Architecture Write, debug and maintain deployment and build scripts for internal and external customers Design and develop in-house development and support tools Other duties may be assigned to support the organization and its goals.
Education or Experience:
Bachelors degree and 3 to 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Shell scripting (ksh, bash, sed, awk, regex) ClearCase user functions SQL and light Oracle administration skills Strong written and communication skills Experience with make/Ant OAS, WebSphere, WebLogic or other comparable Application server administration skills Other Skills and Abilities:
