A General Electric Oil & Gas business providing field services for rotating equipment has an immediate need for Global Field Service Representatives with 5 years of experience working on reciprocating, centrifugal, or screw compressors and gas expanders (Nuovo Pignone, Dresser Rand, Rotoflow, AC Compressor). Responsibilities:  Provide customers with technical direction and support on GE Packaged products or other non-GE products. Takes direction from GE Management to implement software changes to equipment and is responsible for directing lower level craft labor to perform the changes. Signs off on all changes implemented. Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements. Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality. Monitor site safety during project executionQualifications:  Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of Compressor Operation & Controlling Parameters. To ensure understanding of overall operation candidate must have previous millwright experience with high speed rotating equipment, process plant construction and heavy rigging. In order to provide direction to others, this position requires technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment. Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required. Technical/University degree or qualifying experience. Desired Experience: Additional working knowledge of the below for overall understanding of operation is a plus: Electrical circuitry, both AC & DC. Experience with high voltage controls, protective systems and calibration of IO devices desired. Specifically, Allen Bradley PLC, Woodward Governor Controls, Bailey Controls, GE Fanuc, GE Mark III, IV, V or VI. Previous experience with controls programming a plus!
