Compensation Analyst Ld/Sr - Career
PacifiCorp is one of the lowest-cost electricity producers in the United States, providing more than 1.6 million customers with reliable, efficient energy.General Purpose The successful candidate in this position has responsibility for assisting with the development, implementation, communication, administration and review of the Company’s Compensation programs. Responsibilities include, market analysis, reward and recognition oversight, salary survey submission, performance management and merit administration, Annual Incentive administration, training and research. Additionally, the position will provide extensive consultation to management and human resources staff on all compensation elements including wage and hour regulations Responsibilities for this position include the following: Support the development and implementation of compensation policies and programs. Update written policies and/or practices. Develop and conduct compensation surveys to determine competitive salary information for the markets in which we compete for employee talent. Use the market pricing approach to conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate salary, incentive and organizational level assignment. Participate in the annual market pricing project to determine annual structure movement. Oversee the company’s reward and recognition programs. Assist in the administration of the company’s annual incentive program. Administer the company’s performance management and merit process. Train employees and supervisors on all elements of compensation and performance management Prepare various compensation presentations as needed Perform special projects as assigned Requirements for this position include the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of directly related experience Experience working with Federal and State laws governing wage and hour regulations Strong organizational and analytical skills; experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word) Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal, persuasive and independent decision making skills Strong written and oral communication skillsPreferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) as designated by World at Work Strong compensation consulting experience* Will consider candidates with less than five years of experience; compensation will be commensurate with appropriate grade level.All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
