Communication & Control Technician - Clinton, Mass.
Job Title: Communication & Control TechnicianDescription:Communications & Control Technician - Duties include development, installation, and maintenance of the Mass. Water Resources Authority's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at our Clinton Facility in Clinton Massachusetts. Exercises close supervision of technicians and support staff. Installs, repairs and services direct to line, time division multiplex channel banks, works with Telephone Company and other vendors to achieve data line installations and repairs. Works with Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens, programmable logic and remote terminal units. Experience with the calibration, repair and maintenance of instrumentation and telemetry devices required. Also experience with AutoCAD, CAD, and familiarity with computer aided microwave terrain analysis engineering program. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Special Requirements - Selected candidate should have an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering or ISA Control Systems Technician Certification required. Candidates should also have FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (or the ability to obtain license within six months) and pass confined space training within six months as well.
