Cleaning Supervisor/Foreman

We are now seeking Cleaning Foreman/Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be overseeing a team of 4-8 Cleaning Technicians who are cleaning boats, tanks, and barges using a variety of methods. The person in this role will need to be familiar with all equipment/tools, paperwork, and needed documentation. The proven ability to manage others successfully is important. When needed, you would also be required to assist in cleaning responsibilities.

Responsibilities:Drains tank, connects hose to water or steam lines, and sprays walls, roof, and bottom of tank to flush residue such as oil, acid, grease, and sludge through tank openingsScrapes and scrubs walls to remove incrustations, scale, or deposits of coke or catalystSweeps up debris and shovels sludge into buckets or wheelbarrows or down chutes. Uses suction hoses from an air moving unitsRemoves chemical residues and other liquids from tank bottoms with squeegees or pump and suction hosesDries tanks with wood shavings or portable air drying equipmentTests gas content of tanksAdds specified chemicals to industrial tanks to maintain and replenish tank processing solutions

Requirements: Ability to pass a vigorous physical and extensive drug/alcohol/criminal background screensMust be clean shaven for safety precautionsAble to work a 14/7 schedule and significant amounts of overtime
