Civil Engineer - Hydraulics/Dam Work/Project Management 65-95 K/yr

Mid to Senior Level Civil Engineer needed for multiple locations. Locations include: Portland, Maine; Syracuse,NY; Charlotte, NC; York, PA. The ideal candidate has significant hydraulics and dam work experience, and is an experienced engineer with project management and design skills. Candidates MUST HAVE: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering ( BSCE ) from an accredited 4-year institution; Minimum 5 years civil engineering experience; Hydrology and hydraulic analysis and design experience, involvement in or management of hydropower and/or water resources projects and construction projects; Expertise with MS Office software (Word and Excel); Competency with Microstation and AutoCAD. Professional registration is desired for Senior consideration, and EIT certification is desired for Mid-level consideration. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare project evaluation and feasibility studies, engineering design documents, calculations, drawings and construction specification bid packages; Review evaluation of hydrologic records and hydraulic flow data; Prepare construction cost estimates; Analyze and design steel, concrete and timber structures, water diversions, bridges, etc. Field work and site inspections required. Work may involve overnight domestic travel to client sites in western U.S. Benefits offered and competitive salary commensurate with assistance. Relocation is offered for this position.
