Currently recruiting for: MSHA Electrician / Caballo
Job Description:
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair in a safe and efficient manner all equipment required for mining and plant operations. Includes welding and mechanical task as required and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
Ability and commitment to work safely. Two (2) years mine related electrical experience or completion of a two (2) year associate degree in electrical/electronics technology. Prefer experience in: design, installation, trouble-shooting, and repairing electronic systems and circuits. MSHA certification (low, medium, and high voltage). Have experience installing, programming and trouble-shooting PLC's, Allen Bradley, SqD, Modicon, Reliance and GE. Must have experience trouble-shooting and maintaining DC control systems for shovels and draglines or similar type control systems. Understand and use electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Caballo Mine, which is located about 20 miles south of Gillette, shipped 31 million tons of coal in 2007.
