CLIENT CARE ASSOCIATE

Division: Administrative/Clerical Responsibilities: You will be responsible for serving as an entry-level client care associate in a call center environment; attending training/shadow a Client Care Specialist to perform the following responsibilities; greeting and assisting customers; taking the initial phone order for Respiratory, Sleep and Enteral products and related equipment and services; assisting with equipment exchanges; assisting with walk-in customers; assisting with client or customer concerns and help to resolve them; coordinating a corrective action plan with supervisor; completing the order intake, providing information on equipment and services, and obtaining the co-pay either by credit card/debit card/cash; obtaining the necessary documentation for reimbursement; quoting prices; verifying insurance and eligibility; processing patient information; calling referral source and client back timely when required; working with client and referral source to meet all their needs as it relates to our core products and services; maintaining customer, physician, referral master files; successfully completing of all scheduled New Employee Orientation Programs; shadowing different roles in Branch for a day: RT, Driver, Sales to understand the home care business; supporting warehouse; coordinating new patient delivery schedule with the service area to assure timely delivery and appropriate delivery of equipment; and learning the equipment and become knowledgeable of coverage area, and insurance list Special Physical Requirements. Requirements: To qualify, you must have a High School Diploma/GED, be able to read, write, and perform simple mathematic calculations, and able to communicate the English language effectively. The ability to work independently, solve problems, effectively communicate with the purpose of successfully obtaining payment methods for co-pay or self pay, and proficiency with general office skills such as typing, filing, and faxing are required. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, have excellent organizational and time management skills, and excellent phone etiquette skills with the ability to overcome obstacles. Working on completing Associate’s Degree in a healthcare related field preferred. One year of customer service/call center/relations experience is a plus.
