Buyer
My client, a premier provider of sales, operations, maintenance, fabrication, service and equipment for oil and gas production, is seeking a Buyer for their facility located outside of Tulsa, OK.
ResponsibilitiesSourcing and purchasing material by reviewing drawings and specifications.Obtain quotes from approved vendors.Negotiate the best cost that will not impact quality and delivery.Coordinate activities with Engineering, Materials/Purchasing, Quality Control, Production, and Accounting.Monitor supplier performance and assist with improving performance if necessary.Maintain current data in Oracle computer system.
QualificationsB.S. Degree in supply chain management desired.APICS or ISM training a plus.5 plus years on sourcing and procurement required.Oracle experience a plus.
