Located in our Corporate Headquarters in Whippany, NJ our Information Services department is driven by dynamic leadership and fluid teamwork. We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the team. This person will be responsible for interfacing with IT and business resources to identify, document, test and deliver software changes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing application support, acting as a technical liaison to software vendors and participating in the development and maintenance of required interfaces. Additional Primary Responsibilities Include: Conduct requirements gathering sessions with the user community and document the requirements in a Business Requirements Document. Review, analyze and evaluate requirements and propose solutions for application customization requests. Aid in the design of system procedures and develop test plans and test cases and execute the tests. Provide analysis on production problems and production support to users on a daily basis. Communicate effectively on a regular basis with both business and technical staff to convey complex ideas. Conduct both formal and informal application training. Mentor co-workers to develop knowledge of applications. The Preferred Candidate Will Possess the Following: Technical degree or Bachelors degree required. Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. Strong analytical, documentation and follow-up skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Project. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. PMI certification a plus. **Customer service is paramount, but it isn't Suburban's only priority.
