Business Analyst/Data and Report Analyst- Energy

Job Title: Business Analyst :  â€¢ Report and perform data analysis on key sales and operations performance indicators. Must understand fundamental concepts of sales stick rate, customer attrition, gross vs. net sales, as well as other common business metrics. â€¢ Daily Ad-hoc reporting and special analysis reporting. • Operations reporting validation (e.g. Consolidated Renewal report and customer count/rate reconciliations). • Ability to interface with other business groups within company such as Marketing, Risk, Sales, Finance, Pricing and IT. • Work closely with business intelligence and data analysis teams to meet business demands for new reporting tools, automating existing reports, and process documentation. • Perform all job functions within the established internal controls framework for the area, including the key controls identified for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Ensure that any known internal control problems/issues/concerns are identified and communicated on a timely basis to immediate supervisor. • Perform other duties as assigned. Work Experience: • 1-3 years experience reporting and performing data analysis on key performance indicators • Business analysis skills needed for special projects • Ability to gather business requirements effectively • Clear written and verbal communications within group and management • Advanced Excel skills required • PL/SQL skills preferred, but not required• Retail Energy knowledge a plus Education: • Bachelors Degree preferred, or equivalent experience required Please send Word Resume to kenneth.hays@modis.com Company: Modis, Inc.
