Chevron Business and Real Estate Services is accepting online applications for the position of Business Analyst located in Houston, TX through September 24, 2008.Overview:The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support for development of Chevron Business and Real Estate Services (CBRES) business development strategies to enable OPCO business drivers. This position will have global influence, and requires the ability to work with diverse cultures. The Business Analyst will support the North America Transition Manager with all conversion of facilities to CBRES.Qualifications:Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:• Provide analytical support for development of CBRES business development strategies to enable operating company (opco) business drivers. • Develop, deploys and continuously improves the Operating Planning and Development (OPD) tool to assess operating company operations and enhance CBRES integrated service delivery for all CBRES Major Business Units (MBU)• Engages operating company business partners globally to gather financial, operational and organization data• Analyzes data on operating company facilities to identify gaps and develop strategies for CBRES service delivery• Leads the development of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) for CBRES integrated service delivery to operating companies• Leads the development of proposals for emerging business and real estate services opportunities• Collaborates with each CBRES metric owner to finalize pertinent milestones, evaluation methods, reporting formats, reporting schedules and communications to support operating company expectations• Develops process templates for the Integration Operations playbook• Engages CBRES Global Facility Managers on the use and development of standard processes and tools to increase efficiency for the CBRES integrated service delivery• Builds and maintains a business development database including projects, updates and deliverables • Develops messaging and business case for opco stakeholder engagement presentations• Proactively engages CBRES Regional support in North America to support value chain integration across segments to maximize value for the enterprise.• Leads and maintains a secure and safe working environment for the OPD Team• Consistently reports Behavior Based Safety Observations to improve the safety of Chevron’s working environment• Creates a performance ethic that underpins sustained results and demonstrates the Chevron WayRequired (Basic) Qualifications:• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Project)• Strong analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications:• BA/BS degree (Preferred) or Minimum of 10 years related work experience Relocation Options:Relocation will not be provided for this position International Considerations:Expatriate assignments will not be considered.EOE M/F/D/V Learn more about Chevron Location:Houston, TX 77002 Status:Full Time, Employee Job Category:Business/Strategic Management
