Business Services provides Exelon and its subsidiaries with financial, human resource, legal, information technology, supply management and corporate governance services. Under minimal direction, provides outside counsel billing management support and shall be the primary point of contact for electronic invoicing system. Responsible for production of Legal intranet and extranet presentation material. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Primary point of contact for legal electronic billing system, responsible for daily operations, troubleshooting, assisting with software upgrades, and user training. Primary contact with Billing Coordinators at law firms for rate validation, invoice rejection errors, non-payment issues, and timekeeper lists. Primary point of contact for posting of Legal intranet and extranet materials, responsible for content maintenance and under appropriate management direction, for the development of new content. Manage various billing/billing analysis projects from inception; make appropriate judgments. Primary point of contact for setting up new hires for Legal East (i.e., phone, network user IDs, etc.). Assist with payroll and tracking of time. Assist the Legal Client Services group in event planning and execution, including audiovisual support and materials preparation. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum: Completion of an associate's degree or equivalent job experience. At least 4 years professional experience in a legal department. Demonstrated analytical skills. Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to organize, delegate, coordinate, monitor, control and report status of activities and resources. Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment appropriate to the situation. Strong oral and written communication skills, appropriate to the audience. Demonstrated customer/client service skills, including ability to work as part of a team. Demonstrated proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Visio and advanced skills with Excel. Preferred: Undergraduate degree preferred. Preference for experience with IT systems and other legal software applications, including legal timekeeping, matter management and electronic billing systems. POSITION SCOPE Primary point of contact for the Legal electronic invoicing system, and Legal intranet and extranet postings. Manages billing relationships with outside counsel contacts.
