The Wholesale Power group's business is in generation and transmission asset valuation, risk analysis, portfolio management, power market design, litigation, and regulatory analysis. The team's work provides decision analytics and strategic support for new investments, mergers and acquisitions, asset management and commercial contracting, financing due diligence, and restructuring. Our clients are in both the private and public sectors and they include utilities, independent power producers, financial institutions, and city, state and federal governments.

To support our growth, we seek Associates to work in our Energy and Resources Practice (ER). The Associates will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. The Associates at ICF International have an opportunity to apply their experience and academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, and interact with experts and clients in the field, while building content knowledge and consulting skills. Associates advance in our consulting practice and develop an area of special competence, with increasing responsibility for project management and client contact.

Responsibilities: Advanced quantitative and economic analysis of energy markets around the world to assess and forecast the future of electric power and fuels prices, fuel consumption, environmental emissions and compliance, transmission, regulatory effects, among other parameters.

Requires: Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Engineering. Knowledge of linear optimization is an advantage, demonstrated quantitative skills, strong modeling skills, advanced computer skills Microsoft Office (Excel and Access), desire to work in a dynamic team environment, strong interest in economics, finance and the energy industry.

Candidates with a minimum GPA of 3.0, with excellent written and oral communications skills, computer proficiency, organized, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment are encouraged to apply.
