Accounts Receivable Assistant

The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for processing of customer invoices and the resolution of client billing disputes. Prepare and distribute monthly customer invoicing Prepare and log cash deposits Resolve invoicing and collection issues Reconcile outstanding purchase orders and purchasing card transactions with completed work orders for invoicing Participate in monthly close by reviewing accrual reports File customer invoices Distribute bookkeeper deposit reports Process monthly accounts receivable statements Maintain accounts receivable filing system Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions Other duties may be assigned High school degree and 0-1 year previous experience or an equivalent combination of education and training Good verbal and written communications Familiarity with accounts receivable software Experience with Microsoft Excel Effective time management and organizational skills Accurate and attentive to detail Team oriented Knowledge of basic accounting skills Reasonable accomodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.   Internal candidates have 6 work days to apply to this position from date of posting.
