Account Manager, Northern CA - Sales

Position In this position you will work independently and also with other SolarWorld personnel to perform preventive, predictive and routine tasks in our Module Assembly environment. You will also troubleshoot problems, repair failures of production equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include being assigned equipment sets to improve utilization and report weekly on equipment status and improvements that are being carried out. As a member of the SolarWorld Sales Team, you will be part of a rapidly growing industry as well as a rapidly growing geographic area. In this role you will manage large and medium sized key distributors. You will work with their sales organizations and contractors to introduce, train and help close sales of customized SolarWorld Sunkits. You will also gather competitive data to help SolarWorld develop products and strategies to grow faster that the market. Primary resonsibilities for this position include: Sell SolarWorld Sunkits to contractors through the electrical wholesale distribution channel. Provide competitive feedback to the company to grow in a profitable manner. Attend industry events and speak to customer groups to establish SolarWorld brand and products. Provide training to contractors and distributors' sales people to sell and install Sunkits. Requirements The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: 4 year degree and not less than 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar or other power equipment world. Proven successful track record with technical aptitude. Comfortable making presentations to groups of customers and channel sales people. Ability to travel locally/regionally up to 60%. Desire to join a highly entrepreneurial, fast moving, rapidly changing, cohesive team of peers working within a start-up environment.
