Your Ingenuity is welcome!Johnson Controls is seeking experienced, motivated, and positive individuals to drive business in the cutting edge energy conservation industry.  At Johnson Controls, you will be leading teams to develop innovative solutions through green technologies that include efficient mechanical equipment, digital controls systems, and renewable technologies.   You will be responsible for selling large, complex, bundled offerings to high level decision makers at federal military and civilian agencies.  Candidate will lead the internal sales and development team through the sales process.  The sales process includes identifying and qualifying new Federal opportunities, developing long-term business relationships, developing solutions, and closing sales.  Candidate will focus on sales of funded and unfunded energy related technologies.  To facilitate a streamlined sales process, Johnson Controls has existing IDIQ contracts in place with the Federal Government.   This position could be located in Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Dallas, TX or Houston, TX.    Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required. MBA preferred.  A minimum of five to seven years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level.  Ideal candidate will have a strong financial, contractual, and technical background.  Experience working with or for the Federal government is a plus.  Strong leadership skills required.  Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communications skills.  Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.  Ability to travel 50%.
