Tri-State is a Denver based progressive and rapidly growing non-profit consumer owned wholesale supplier of electric power to forty-four distribution cooperatives in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and New Mexico.  With over 1100 employees, Tri-State operates and maintains fossil fuel power plants with owned coal-fired capacity of 1826 megawatts, gas turbines with 526 megawatts of capacity, and over 5000 miles of high voltage transmission lines. 

 

Position is responsible for providing general legal services and assistance as requested.

 

JD Degree.

 

Three through eight years of related progressive experience, preferably involving one or more of the following:

 

Transactional law and finance areas;

Construction contracts;

UCC; Electric utility;

and/or RUS experience.

 

Must be admitted to practice law in Colorado within one year from date of employment.
