Qualifications A bachelor's degree in computer science, Business or related discipline is preferred. SAP Certification courses is also a plus. Five years or more of related experience working in an SAP environment performing ABAP Development. Strong technical skills that can implement ERP technologies that enables business processes. Ability to communicate and document technical information in understandable business terms. Specific technical experience should include SAP ABAP expertise in one or more of the following core modules, Configuration of SAP HR, MM, AP, PM, SM, PLM, Workflow etc as identified by hiring manager. Responsibilities Develops, maintains and enhances business applications using ABAP, providing specialized technical or business knowledge to the project. Collaborates with company customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define detained customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions. Acts as internal consultants, providing technical guidance or business process expertise on the most complex projects or researching strategic planning matters from a technical or business standpoint. Assigned to projects within an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilize a variety of new computing architectures (e.g., client/server, Intranet, Web) or mainframe platforms. Identifies causes and implements solutions to business problems in a multifunctional project, assessing and communicating issues of technology impact on the business. Maintains awareness of and accurately anticipates organizational impacts. Understands the procedures and expected system performance associated with the introduction of new information technologies, while seeking ways to collaborate with other IT members to facilitate transitions. Shares responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery. Writes programs from detailed specifications including program design, code, test debug and documentation. Provides business analysis and programming expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design and development of business applications. May act as Lead on small project or subproject. Monitors and reports to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating and identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions. Integrates activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Fosters and maintains good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to expected customer service levels. Prepares detailed specification from which programs will be written; designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs. Formulates and defines application scope and objectives and devise/modify procedures to solve business problems. Under the leadership and tactical supervision of a project leader, incumbent collaborates with company customers, staff, IT and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options. Formulates and defines application scope and objectives. Defines and/or modifies configuration to solve business problems; maintains expertise with production operations, established priorities and sequences; develops business relationships and integrates activities with other IT areas to ensure successful implementation and support for project efforts; fosters and maintains good relationships with IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels; develops and maintains Business Process Procedures (BPPs). Qualifications:SAP ABAP Conversion Programming. MUST be an expert level ABAP programmer with PM BAPI and PM table knowledge. Responsibilities: ABAP conversion programming from legacy mainframe systems to SAP PM module.
