1st & 2nd Shifts

Currently, we have 2 openings for a Warehouse Supervisor 1st shift & 2nd shift in our Parsippany, NJ facility.  The responsibilities for this position include:

 

Ensure the completion of predetermined work assignments while directing subordinates to achieve these assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies, in compliance with the industry, PNY and ISO quality standards.  A production supervisor may oversee functional areas in Warehouse or Operations.

 Responsible for the direction, supervision, development and motivation of employees in assigned areaInteract with other supervisors and managers to ensure department and corporate goals and objectives are reachedEnsure departmental compliance to applicable policies and proceduresAssist in process developmentOperate, maintain and/or ensure proper working order of all equipment within area of responsibility Ensure that all orders/product are processed and packed in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain accurate product inventoryImplement and maintain process and procedural changesPerform a variety of administrative tasks such as invoicing, compiling reports and maintaining logsTrain employees on all new process improvement initiativesDevelop monitoring tools that provide product movement statistics in order to maximize product with Pick-To-LightBecome proficient as to all aspects of Pick-To-Light software and capabilitiesAssist in other areas, as assigned

 

 

 Requirements:

 

· High diploma plus mechanical, electronics or technical training or equivalent

· 3-5 years experience in this field

· 1-5 years supervisory  experience

· Demonstrated experience with operation and maintenance of equipment

· Knowledge of SPC, ESD, materials handling and workmanship standards maintenance

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) Required

· Inventory management experience

· Good written and oral communication skills

· Self-starter, ability to multi-task

· Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook
