Essential Job Functions:

The VP of Product Management is responsible for developing and executing a product strategy to support world wide revenue growth at 20%+ to meet or exceed annual and long–term revenue and profitability goals. In addition, this person is responsible for leading a global product management team and providing guidance and vision to the group.  This individual will provide insight and leadership to facilitate the execution of business plans and product roadmaps to create new innovative products and support existing products in the field. This position reports to the CTO.

·  Polished professional who can lead by example in enhancing and extending AMX’s product portfolio

·  Strategic thinker, dynamic leader, and results-oriented manager who is comfortable in a team-oriented, fast-paced, customer focused, rapidly growing environment.

·  Lead efforts with Marketing to determine product positioning and strategies

·  Consistently communicate and consult with executive leadership on product status, launches, and challenges including recommendations for appropriate resolution

·  Seek to understand and help to further AMX’s position within the marketplace

·  Be involved in helping aggregate channel feedback and valid product ideas into the requirement gathering process for consideration.

· Works in a team environment with Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and other groups within AMX.

 

Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s Degree  in Engineering required. MBA preferred

·  10-15 years overall experience in Technology based companies

·  Minimum of 5 years in Senior Leadership / VP Function

·  Previous experience in Product Line Management including effective Product Life Cycle management,  Roadmap execution and Go To Market strategies

·  Demonstrated experience in market facing activities: product support, product management, business development, marketing, etc.

·  Demonstrated experience managing a group with the ability to lead and motivate strong, goal-oriented teams
