Vertical Integration Manager

The Opportunity:Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Vertical Integration Manager. Vertical Integration Manager Responsibilities: Design and manage the implementation of new manufacturing processes. Evaluate, recommend and conduct acceptance testing of processes, equipment and materials. Research and develop methods to increase quality, productivity and reduce costs of manufacturing operations. Be accountable for the organization's quality, performance, output and on-time to delivery. Identify and justify staffing and capital requirements. Establish and implement training on all new processes, equipment and materials. Encourage staff development and implementation of SEL values and culture. Qualifications: B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or related field 7 years experience with implementing manufacturing processes Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Ability to perform a variety of complex tasks A wide degree of creativity and latitude Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic manufacturing systems and machinery An Award Winning Company Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
