Validation / Quality Control manager

This position started as a traditional Quality Manager, but we would like to enhance the position to include our validation testing area.

 

As our Validation / Quality Control Manager, you would report directly to the Vice President of Engineering and be responsible for the following primary duties:

 Manage product validation and test area of both hardware/software

 Cooperates with top management personnel in formulating and establishing company quality policies, operating procedures and goals.

 Responsible for maintaining ISO 9001-2000 certification, acting as company representative. 

 Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.

 Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product quality and reliability while minimizing costs.

 Interfaces with engineers about quality assurance of new and existing products.

 Directs workers engaged in incoming and in process inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials and products.

 Investigates and adjusts customer complaints through customer returns, regarding quality.



The requirements for this position are a minimum of a BS degree in engineering or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of manager experience.
