Utility Power Sales Engineer

With our Head Office based in Brisbane, Australia, we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to be based in the USA reporting to the General Sales Manager North America. This role will develop all markets in the assigned region(s) to maximize revenue and medium to long term profitability by equipping, motivating and developing the Channel(s). The individual will work directly with customers and Channel(s) to influence specifications to ensure we are in the best position to win tenders. They will also work with the Channel(s) to secure current business.Key Responsibilities1. Develop strategies and promote / manage the Nulec business in assigned region, incl. Channel and end users to meet development goals and assigned OI targets while controlling expenses. 2. Prepare monthly reports and OI forecasts and feed back market and competitor information into marketing and R&D tender activity in region. 3. Support channel in submitting tenders and or direct tenders and final contract negotiations. 4. Develop and motivate channel to achieve autonomy and maximize growth in region. 5. Provide level 1 technical support and assist in deploying required service level in each region. 6. Provide timely responses to technical / commercial inquiries. 7. Travel minimum three nights per week, required to support the development of Nu LEC LLC business market share and sales.Requirements include technical and commercial experience and a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical). The ideal candidate will have a Utilities/MV O/H Distribution and Network Systems background. Minimum 5 years sales experience required.
