Job Responsibilities: Field Service Engineer - Power I. PURPOSE/SUMMARY Performs startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance work as directed by District Service Manager / Region Service Director on Company manufactured, as well as third party manufactured, equipment utilized in Power Quality and generation and associated backup, monitoring and graphical parameter display systems at customer sites. II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS A. Assist with pre-Site, startup, warranty repair, preventive maintenance, contract repair, and field modification of UPS systems, their monitor systems and associated battery backup systems. B. Complete paperwork associated with all work activities including FSRs, expense reports, preventive maintenance and startup data sheets, Daily time card completion. C. Demonstrate positive customer relationship building and management skills. D. Satisfactorily complete assigned new-hire and introductory product training courses during the first six months of employment. III. OTHER FUNCTIONS A. Customer familiarization and Operator Training Class presentations. B.
