Seeking a Test Engineer to serve as a senior electrical test resource to mentor the tech staff and to troubleshoot microprocessor subsystems.  Responsibilities include the testing & certification of outgoing SBIR products, troubleshooting & repairing returned products, modifying electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations and diagnosis of causes of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment.  Other responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance. You may also oversee, monitor and coordinate test and calibration lab activities. Serve as a Sr. electrical test resource to mentor the tech staff and to troubleshoot microprocessor subsystems.  Responsibilities include testing & certification of outgoing SBIR products, troubleshooting & repairing returned products, modifying electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations and diagnosis of causes of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment.       

Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have an EE or equivalent experience and enjoy hands on work.  Five years of strong electronic technician experience is essential, electro-optic experience is preferred.  Must have at strong troubleshooting experience and electronic testing experience, be computer literate and be able to read & understand wiring diagrams, schematics & mechanical drawings. Certain export licensing requirements may restrict employment at SBIR based upon the candidate's work authorization/immigration status. The ideal candidate will have an EE or equivalent experience. Software and Electro-optical experience preferred.  Must have at strong troubleshooting and electronic test exp, be computer literate and able to read & understand wiring diagrams, schematics & mechanical drawings.
