Territory Sales Representative -Need Industrial Background

Kelly Direct, the permanent placement division of Kelly Services is looking for a Territory Sales Representative that has a industrial background. Our client is a leading provider in the Midwest of industrial vacuum systems, compressor systems, filtration, and positive displacement blowers. They have been is business for over 15 years in Kansas City. They also have locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Dallas.Job Duties:-Carries-out sales activities (face to face meetings, phone calls, presence in trade shows) in accordance with a pre-established Individual Business Plan. -Strengthens relationships with existing accounts and develops new accounts to grow target market in assigned territory.-Becomes familiar with clients technological processes to enable maximum product and service utilization in order to become a prime resource for the client. -Demonstration of industry technology in an application specific manner using dedicated compressed air audit equipment tools, and software.-Completes and submits, forecasts and sales reports as required and on a timely basis.Requirements:-A Minimum of 2 years documented sales success.-Associates Degree with a technical focus.(Would be a BIG Plus)-Have excellent time management skills.-Great computer skills that will allow you to do proposals with ease.-Be able to work independently with minimal supervisor. Compensation:Base plus Commission.
