We are a US manufacturer and major exporter, and we operate a fleet of high tech vessels and robotic tools worldwide. For more than fifty years our ships have sailed the oceans installing and maintaining undersea systems.  Our services include systems engineering, route surveys, undersea and terrestrial installation and maintenance, system recovery and decommissioning, as well as complete shore-end and marine liaison work. We have a new opening for a Systems Engineer to join us at our R&D Center in Eatontown, New Jersey.  There are approximately 150 technical personnel working in 47 labs at our 140,000 square foot facility.  We conduct Core Undersea Technology  Development and have about 20 patent applications per year.  Our commitment to continuous investment in R&D has led to the development of such products as Gen3 SLTE.   This is a new position to provide support to systems engineering and design for undersea telecommunications systems at our Eatontown, New Jersey, R&D Center …close to the shore.  As a Systems Engineer, you will develop solutions, assist with the preparation and delivery of technical and sales presentations, and prepare proposals.  You will review and prepare responses to customer technical specifications and system design documentation.  Your job will include working with different functional groups within the company as well as with both our domestic and international customers.  Some travel will be required. Need BS degree in Engineering with an MS preferred.  Engineering degree should be EE, ME or related engineering discipline.  Experience in fiber optics pertaining to optical data transmission and optical amplified systems preferred.
