Essential Job Functions:
· Develop system requirements, architecture, and design for a line of network-connected products.
· Coordinate development requirements and efforts among multiple product development groups.
· Investigate emerging industry standards.
· Work with team of engineers to bring network-connected products to market.
· Support maintenance of existing products.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
· Experience with full life cycle development process required.
· Experience requirements analysis and generation required.
· Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware and Software disciplines desired.
· Experience with object-oriented design desired.
· Experience with UML or other major modeling methodology desired.
· Ability to multi-task required.
· Must work well in a group environment.
