OBJECTIVE: Assist engineers to ensure components/materials meet requirements and improve suppliers/systems/processesRESPONSIBILITIES:-Assist Supplier Development Engineers, Material Quality Engineers and Incoming Inspectors-Analyze, disposition and facilitate transaction of suspect/nonconforming materials-Develop Incoming Inspection tests and inspection procedures-Assist Supplier Development Engineers and Incoming Inspectors on special tests that need to be conducted Examples: First Article, Process Capability (Cpk)-Coordinate stock purges/sort/rework of suspect/nonconforming-Locate second sources for components-Establish and report metrics-Initiate actions to facilitate continuous improvementSUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE PROFILE: -Will be able to perform computer functions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), work flow, and email applications-Will be able to perform basic mathematical functions-Will be able to read / interpret prints and specifications-Will be able to navigate document storage applications and server locations -Will be able to use test and measurement equipment-Will be able to work independently while achieving a high level of task completion-Will demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail-Will perform engineering function under that direction of an engineer-Will be able to work on feet for up to 5 hours of an 8 hour shift-Will demonstrate regular, consistent attendance ability to work overtime as neededSUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SKILLS:-Effective interpersonal skills-Analytical and problem solving skills-Effective communication, both written and verbalEmail your resumePlease click here,or copy and paste the following link into your email browser, to email your resume.
