Deloitte Consulting provides services that help clients achieve their objectives and add value across the organization.   Manager: Power & Utilities Practice  The Deloitte Consulting Power & Utilities practice works with senior management in investor and privately-owned electric power generation, electric and gas transmission, distribution and energy transacting companies, as well as investor and privately-owned water and wastewater companies involved in collection, chemical and mechanical treatment, storage, distribution and supply of water to customers.  Whether its technology integration, enterprise transformation, strategy and operations, human capital, outsourcing, attest, enterprise risk services or financial advisory services, Deloitte is uniquely qualified to tackle today's most pressing sector challenges.   ·         Experience focused in the Power & Utilities sector required. ·         Management Consulting experience is a MUST ·         Managers will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. ·         Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.  ·         Managers implementand oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.  ·         Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. ·         Managers can lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements. ·         A minimum of 6 years consulting and/or industry experience is required. ·         A Bachelor's Degree is required.    In addition, successful Managers will also have the following preferred skills:   - Utility operational experience in Transmission & Distribution and/or Generation.  In addition, experience in maintenance planning and management; asset planning and management; field work force management; logistics and dispatch; materials management & supply chain; knowledge of relevant technologies is preferred. - Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. - Eagerness to mentor junior staff. - An advanced degree is preferred.   LOCATIONS: Atlanta, McLean, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cleveland, DC, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
