Strategic Marketing Manager

For quick consideration apply hereThis is a high profile, high visibility, leadership role developing and driving strategy for Power Conversion product families: PFC, PWM/QR/Resonant Controllers or any combination, and secondary side devices. You'll be responsible for achieving superior revenue growth and profit in targeted product spaces and markets. Leadership: - Lead the BU marketing team in the definition and the execution of strategies and tactical plans to achieve growth goals. Develop, coach, and mentor talent. - Build cooperative relationships with the Power Supply Applications and Marketing Segment team to insure proper synergy between the groups. - Build cooperative relationships and partner with the Corporate Global Sales Organization, FAEs, and regional marketing teams to achieve market penetration and revenue/profit goals.P&L Responsibility: - Responsible for achieving revenue and profit goals. - Develop pricing strategies to achieve market penetration and profit objectives. - Develop revenue and unit volume forecasts based on market trends, customer input, etc.New Product Development: - Identify and recommend new product development opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, and financial analysis. - Collaborate with target customer to share product and technology roadmaps and ensure consistency between internal development plans and customer needs. - Develop and execute launch plans for new product introductions. - The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of semiconductor industry experience in marketing, applications, product definition or a related field. - This position requires analyzing information and evaluating results to make decisions, solve problems and drive strategy. Effective communication and negotiation skills are needed while interacting with internal development teams, other product groups, sales, field applications engineers and customers. - Excellent analytical skills and decision making ability are desired. - MSEE or MBA is preferred.
