Responsibilities

IDT is currently searching for an experienced Supply Chain Systems Analyst for an immediate opening.  This position will primarily involve application support for production systems, functional analysis of business requirements and analysis of demand patterns and inventory levels.  This role will involve deployment and rollout of new functional business applications and enhancements. The job requires a strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management Systems and Processes.  Expertise with Demand Management and Inventory Management is preferred.  Collaborate across businesses and IT to ensure that technical design meets the business requirements and IT strategy on Supply Chain Management processes and standards Lead and participate in program/projects and contribute to the design, development and implementation of IT solutions related to Supply Chain Management systems Use statistical forecasting methods to help create improved demand forecast accuracyAnalyze demand patterns to help position inventory across the supply chain to help create improved customer service levels while minimizing inventory valuationRequired to analyze the business requirements and configure systems to meet the overall design.  Defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.Sets priorities, manages schedules, and assures quality/timely releases of required business functionality through system deployments and business process changes.Committed to gaining exposure to multiple applications while further developing the career.Work in conjunction with the off shore team in Penang Malaysia.Manage third party all contractors and external projects that work on applications.Work without day-to-day supervision and handle most unique situations

Requirements

 BS degree in a quantitative field (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science). Masters degree preferred.7+ years experience in Supply Chain Management systems and  processes

·  Strong Application skills and experience with SQL, Business Intelligence and OLAP tools such as Microsoft Analysis Services, Business Objects, Actuate or similar.

·  Experience in a high-growth semiconductor company is strongly preferred.

·  Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills. Clear focus under pressure.

·  Strong interpersonal, and communication skills.

·  Project management skills a plus.

·  Ability to communicate effectively with highly technical management teams and translate technical processes to business users

·  Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.

 

General:

·  Must be able to take a hands on approach with the team, must be able to contribute to the actual requirements creation and business process definition activities.

·  Must have experience in complete life cycle management of an application architecture which includes but is not limited to:
-  Requirements gathering and documentation methodologies, include

  requirements change control procedures
-  Application design, including technology/application selection
   -  Development methodologies and project tracking
-  Source control and defect tracking
   -  Application feature enhancement and bug tracking processes,

  procedures and tools.
-  Release control
-  Documentation, deployment and training
