Job Summary

Under general supervision, responsible for working with EnterpriseOne Toolset and maintaining the JDE infrastructure. Supports functional team on analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues. 

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Conscientiously pursues achievement of objectives.

· Facilitates existing reporting processes while developing new and improved custom reports and applications.

· Performs daily administration and maintenance of the JDE servers and other CNC components. 

· Participates in system upgrades, conversions, and new site implementations. 

· Assists in the development and enforcement of SOX compliance standards and documentation.

· Possesses strong interpersonal skills, working effectively with end-users and the functional team to interpret application and technical issues. 

· Regular attendance is required.

· May occasionally be required to work overtime.

Skills & Abilities

· Solid expertise in Development Tools, RDA, FDA, NERs, BSFNs, and exposure to C++ and Java.

· Comprehensive knowledge of JDE architecture, environments, path codes, OCM, OMW, security, package deployment, and application of ESUs and servicepacks. 

· Experience administering SQL server and general understanding of Citrix, Websphere, and Oracle Application Server. 

· Prior upgrade/implementation experience (in 8.12) is desired. 

· Knowledge of third-party applications such as DSI - dcLINK is a plus. 

· Good interpersonal skills.  Must be able to establish and maintain good relations to understand and readily adapt to changing demands and needs of management.

· Willingness and ability to respond to infrequent urgent issues in the evening and on weekends.

· Effective time management skills.  Ability to continually evaluate and prioritize tasks.

 

 

Education/Experience Requirements

· Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of relevant, hands-on experience.

· Due to nature of work candidate must be US citizen or Permanent Resident.

 

Level of Supervision

· This position is typically not responsible for the supervision of any other positions.

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

· Regularly required to sit, stand and walk and use hands to handle or feel.

· Frequently required to reach with arms and hands; and occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

· Occasionally required to lift up to 20 pounds.

· Vision requirements include color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

· Exposure to general office working conditions which include florescent lights and may include risk of radiation from computer monitor.

· The typical work environment has a low noise level.
