Sr. Field Applications Engineer
Position SummaryCustodian of design wins; evaluate and remove technical obstacles during the selling process. Drive design wins to revenue. Essential Functions- Provide applications and design solutions to the company’s customer base, utilizing previous design, industry and product knowledge.- Assist customers in using microcontroller/analog devices in their breadboards and systems designs.- Actively support and resolve technical issues.- Visit customers with sales and PWR personnel to provide technical and application sales support.- Develop new accounts and expanded existing accounts within an established geographic territory. Minimum RequirementsBS or BE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of three years of hardware/software design experience with emphasis on embedded control (8/16/32 bit microcontrollers and analog). Preferable two years experience in semiconductor application/sales. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in C and assembly programming. Special RequirementsWillingness to travel overnight within territory (approximate 50-60%) with occasional travel to elsewhere in US for specific training.
