Our continued success and growth has produced a need for Sprinkler Systems Service Sales Rep position in our East Peoria, Illinois location. Responsibilities:  The Sprinkler System Sales Representative will be responsible for developing positive outgoing relationships with customers, general contractors and end users to build new business associations/relationships to grow the Sprinkler business. The rep will also be responsible for developing proposals, forecasts and meeting monthly revenue goals.  Project management, as built drawings along with O&Ms and contract administration are also part of the ongoing responsibility of this position.Minimum Qualifications: Â·  Degree in a technical, business discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.·  1-2 Years successful sales experience in the fire protection field . ·  3-5 years sprinkler design experience, including estimating, material listing and performing hydraulic calculations required. ·  Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems with NICET Certification or equivalent experience in the field of Automatic Sprinkler Layout preferred.·  Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13 standards and local codes. ·  Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed. ·  Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. ·  Ability and willingness to work independently and as a team player. ·  Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills. ·  Ability to multi-task, organize work and manage sales territory. ·  Proficient in the use of personal computers including Windows OS. ·  Valid Driver's License and good driving record.   Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening.  SimplexGrinnell offers excellent compensation and benefits programs including medical and dental coverage, educational assistance, employee stock plan, matching 401K, company vehicle and more. For more information about our company, please visit our website:  http:www.simplexgrinnell.com For consideration, please email your resume to Neila Helmer, nhelmer@simplexgrinnell.com .  Only applicants that possess the minimum qualifications will be considered; please do not respond if you do not meet the above criteria.  Not all applicants will recieve a response; only the top candidates will be notified. SimplexGrinnell is EEO Employer.
