SolidWorks Designer
We have a contract position in Richardson for a SolidWorks Designer. This position likely will convert to a direct position. Good SolidWorks experience.
Details complex drawings, sketches, and profiles used in the planning or construction of various physical projects or products. Works as directed to conceive of or create form and design variations for consideration.
- Develops complete major layouts of engineering drawings from predetermined basic designs in a field of specialization such as electrical, mechanics, or structures.
- Analyzes plans for potential cost and engineering consideration.
- Draws preliminary sketches of proposed product or project. – Determines scaling required; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations and sectioning.
- Prepares specifications for parts, assemblies and installations.
- May recommend modifications and changes for design improvement and simplification.
