Software Engineer- Senior Embedded Consultant
Contribute to the development of embedded product applications. The position involves close interaction and leading of a small team of software developers and interaction with the hardware and mechanical teams. Efforts include requirements definition through preliminary and detailed design, coding, testing and integration. Responsibilities include participating in overall system design team meetings and reviews. The requirements definition phase will include working closely with marketing and clinical personnel.Qualifications: Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline A minimum of ten years experience in a team-based software engineering environment Experienced in embedded product development Experience with object-oriented analysis, design and development Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong commitment to meeting schedules and customer needs Good “team player”, strong interpersonal skills Experience a highly regulated development environment. Required Skills: Strong technical foundation in C++, C Good software development process skills WinCE experience required with GUI modem interface experience.ARM based product development experience a plus DSP/algorithm development or implementation experience strongly desired “All information is Confidential'Local Candidates Only Company: Silicon South Inc.
