Shipping Lead

We have an opportunity for a Shipping Lead at our 100,000-sf warehouse in Anaheim, CA. The successful candidate will assist the Shipping Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of our very busy warehouse.  This includes: Ã‚· Coordinating the outbound shipping activities with other Leads in Picking, Cutting, and Receiving· Training employees on daily tasks and coaching them develop skill and knowledge in their jobs· Ensuring a clean, well-organized, and safe warehouse environment that meets all internal audit and OSHA standards· Ensuring compliance with all established company policies and procedures We are looking for someone who has played a leadership role in a warehouse shipping operation.  Candidates must have the communication skills to provide a positive and challenging work environment to hourly employees and work closely with salespeople and customers.  A sense of urgency is critical to the successful performance of this position. Our warehouse is a clean, comfortable environment.  Anixter offers competitive compensation and a benefits package that including medical, dental and two retirement plans, including a matched 401(k).  There's also opportunity for career growth, especially if you are open to relocation in the future. Please include your compensation history and expectations in order to be considered. Click here to view position online
