Currently, we have an opening for a Shipping Associate in our Parsippany, NJ facility.  The responsibilities for this position include:

· Oversee shipping activities

· Perform all physical tasks involved in shipping materials

· Ship and Track materials accurately and timely

· Process packages through third party system, including arranging pick ups

· Run DC report, print & pick lists for DC shipments

· Ensure that security, safety and ISO policies and procedures are followed

· Ensure that all shipping documents are correct and verified against invoice

· Maintain all shipping records

· Route and schedule LTL carriers for outbound shipments ensuring most cost effective method of transportation

· Invoice all manual shipments

· Process large volume LTL shipments through 3rd party system

· Perform warehouse maintenance

· Ability to perform multiple tasks

· Maintain and follow department standards relating to productivity and efficiency

· Ability to lead and guide employees

· Other duties as assigned

 

 Requirements:

 

·  High school diploma or equivalent

·  2 to 3 years experience in related area

·  Ability to communicate effectively in English

·  Proficient with Word and Excel

·  Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

·  Detail oriented

·  Ability to operate a forlift

·  Ability to perform heaving lifting (up to 60 pounds)

·  Bilingual (Spanish/English)
